..In the most recent frottage series, templates are drawn in hardened glue from a group of selected pictures and sketches. Later, during the drawing process, these are placed under the paper and emerge, sometimes more, sometimes less, as shapes and figures (frottage). In this way, controlled and uncontrollable movements meet – playing with expressions and coincidence – a constructed composition: pictures which are fascinating and full of tension develop, works which cannot be completely comprehended, even after numerous viewings and where ever-new elements become visible...
